Job Description

As a Business Development Representative 2 (BDR 2), you will be a key contributor to our sales pipeline and revenue growth through expert lead qualification and generation. Job Responsibility

  • Generate prospective customers and qualify leads from marketing programs through cold calling and email outreach
  • Direct Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) to the appropriate Sales District with high efficiency and prioritization
  • Proactively collaborate with the sales team to ensure pre-qualified leads are processed in a timely manner, driving pipeline creation
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and empower shared success
  • Diligently document all sales activities and customer interactions in Salesforce to maintain data integrity and focus on the details
  • Identify client needs, providing guidance and information on our products and services to increase customer satisfaction
  • Stay current with new products, services, and cybersecurity industry trends, applying this learning to solve customer problems
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales results and performance metrics set by leadership

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with equivalent internship/work experience
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or a similar role involving inbound and outbound calls
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for documenting activities
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to various audiences

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • A consistent track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and engaging presentation skills
  • Familiarity with analyzing spreadsheets and charts using MS Excel
