As a Business Development Representative 2 (BDR 2), you will be a key contributor to our sales pipeline and revenue growth through expert lead qualification and generation. Job Responsibility:
Generate prospective customers and qualify leads from marketing programs through cold calling and email outreach
Direct Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) to the appropriate Sales District with high efficiency and prioritization
Proactively collaborate with the sales team to ensure pre-qualified leads are processed in a timely manner, driving pipeline creation
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and empower shared success
Diligently document all sales activities and customer interactions in Salesforce to maintain data integrity and focus on the details
Identify client needs, providing guidance and information on our products and services to increase customer satisfaction
Stay current with new products, services, and cybersecurity industry trends, applying this learning to solve customer problems
Consistently meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales results and performance metrics set by leadership
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with equivalent internship/work experience
Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or a similar role involving inbound and outbound calls
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for documenting activities
Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to various audiences
Nice to have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
A consistent track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
Excellent communication, negotiation, and engaging presentation skills
Familiarity with analyzing spreadsheets and charts using MS Excel
