Job Description:

Lead the Business Development Project Office (BDPO) as the global competence centre for project management within IKEA Core Business Supply. Deliver high-impact strategic projects across business units helping IKEA realize its supply chain ambitions. The portfolio spans strategy and business planning, operating model and capability development, business transformation and organizational design, digital enablement and acceleration, value chain optimization across sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and services, innovation deployment and material development, process improvement and redesign.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and develop the BDPO function
Inspire and empower a diverse team of project professionals
Manage a strategic project portfolio ensuring full delivery on time or faster with strong value realization
Build and nurture stakeholder relationships advising senior leaders and management teams
Champion talent development, recruitment, and succession planning
Strengthen BDPO's role as a competence centre continuously evolving methods and capabilities
Represent Core Business Supply in the global Project Management capability network

Requirements:

Exceptional project leadership in complex, global environments
Structured problem-solving and a mindset for continuous improvement
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
Change leadership that creates clarity and confidence in times of transformation
Coaching and talent development abilities that unlock potential in others
Experience in management consulting or fields such as business transformation, innovation deployment, organizational development, or process design is highly beneficial
