Our Military Academies have seen amazing growth over the last few months with the addition of MPCT taking us to a total of 34 academies across England and Wales. We want to continue this amazing growth by driving learner starts across all sites, helping us to expand further in the future and transforming even more lives. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Centre Manager by driving learner starts and enrolling them on to their chosen programme. This is a busy role where you need to balance the need for commercial and administrative activity on a daily basis.
Job Responsibility:
Develop links with key external stakeholders and capitalise on the relationships to generate enrolments
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Carry out all stakeholder related recruitment activity including advertising, pre-screening, and interviewing
Update the centralised vacancy database
Liaise with stakeholders in relation to the enrolment process of learners
Organise and manage the open days to generate potential interest in military careers
Manage employer surveys on an adhoc and bi-annual basis
Enrol new learners onto the correct program
Advertise current vacancies, managing applications effectively on the CRM
Carry out student reviews
Support communication to students and externals
Interview applicants for their chosen programme
Act as a point of contact for learners providing ongoing support
Provide additional support during the learners first 6 weeks
Support learners at programme exit and provide information, advice and guidance
Accurately record actual number of starts and pipeline figures
Meet and report weekly to the call centre key personal and Centre Manager
Report on monthly activities against set key performance indicators
Drive performance against academy budget and targets
Requirements:
Experience in a sales role
Customer service skills
Military knowledge or interest would be beneficial
Ability to build rapport with a wide range of learners & employers
Keen attention to detail
Positive attitude
Ability to communicate at all levels
