As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for recruiting new learners, building strong networks, and generating leads to meet and exceed enrolment targets. This is a target-based role that combines relationship-building, sales expertise, and community engagement. You will represent our Hair & Beauty Academies with professionalism, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to learners’ success and wellbeing.
Job Responsibility:
Drive learner recruitment through proactive outreach, networking, and lead generation activities
Build relationships with potential learners, partners, and local organisations to promote our training programmes
Achieve individual and team recruitment targets through effective pipeline management
Provide excellent customer service and guidance to learners throughout the recruitment process
Maintain accurate records and ensure all data handling complies with GDPR
Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver an outstanding learner experience
Requirements:
Proven experience in a sales or recruitment role (essential)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Industry knowledge and qualifications (minimum of 3 years preferred)
Knowledge of funding streams and eligibility
A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred
A proactive, target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
