We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Officer to join our team. This role is vital in driving growth by fostering strong relationships with agencies and identifying new business opportunities. Job Responsibility:
Monitor daily customer web activity to identify trends and proactively address both opportunities and challenges
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with broker and underwriting teams, collaborating on strategies and tactics to achieve business goals
Communicate regularly with clients to explore additional growth opportunities and ensure alignment with their needs
Conduct systematic prospecting to identify new potential customers and maximize the potential of existing accounts
Schedule and attend meetings with current and prospective clients to strengthen relationships and promote company offerings
Travel extensively, spending 80% of time visiting customers and engaging in face-to-face interactions
Utilize follow-up techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term partnerships
Analyze market data to identify new business opportunities and refine strategies to enhance company presence
Provide prompt feedback and solutions to address customer concerns and enhance their experience
Collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with company capabilities and ensure mutual success
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or a related field
Strong ability to identify and pursue business opportunities effectively
Proficiency in cold calling and other outreach methods to engage potential clients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships
Ability to travel extensively, including overnight trips, to meet with customers and develop partnerships
Skilled in analyzing data and market trends to inform strategic decisions
Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with business development tools and strategies for driving growth
