We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Officer to join our team. This role is vital in driving growth by fostering strong relationships with agencies and identifying new business opportunities. Job Responsibility

  • Monitor daily customer web activity to identify trends and proactively address both opportunities and challenges
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with broker and underwriting teams, collaborating on strategies and tactics to achieve business goals
  • Communicate regularly with clients to explore additional growth opportunities and ensure alignment with their needs
  • Conduct systematic prospecting to identify new potential customers and maximize the potential of existing accounts
  • Schedule and attend meetings with current and prospective clients to strengthen relationships and promote company offerings
  • Travel extensively, spending 80% of time visiting customers and engaging in face-to-face interactions
  • Utilize follow-up techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term partnerships
  • Analyze market data to identify new business opportunities and refine strategies to enhance company presence
  • Provide prompt feedback and solutions to address customer concerns and enhance their experience
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with company capabilities and ensure mutual success

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or a related field
  • Strong ability to identify and pursue business opportunities effectively
  • Proficiency in cold calling and other outreach methods to engage potential clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships
  • Ability to travel extensively, including overnight trips, to meet with customers and develop partnerships
  • Skilled in analyzing data and market trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with business development tools and strategies for driving growth
