In this field-based role, your focus will be on fostering and maintaining strong relationships with broker referrers and new partners across a variety of industries. You’ll collaborate closely with the New Zealand team to identify opportunities, elevate Prospa’s presence in market, and deliver strong, sustainable growth. You’ll be the face of Prospa in your region, educating partners, increasing referral activity, and championing our value proposition to small business communities.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and Manage Partnerships: Identify, engage, and build relationships with broker referrers and new partners across multiple industries, implementing strategic plans to drive business referrals and achieve sales targets
Drive Sales Growth: Present Prospa’s value proposition to increase referral opportunities, stimulate deal flow, and ensure best practice sales and marketing execution within the channel
Collaborate and Build Awareness: Work closely with team and partners to enhance market awareness, actively contribute to team motivation, and position Prospa as a market leader in targeted categories
Reporting and CRM Management: Provide regular sales pipeline updates to management and maintain accurate information in the company CRM system
Training and Overcoming Objections: Effectively overcome customer objections, train others to do the same, and articulate Prospa’s value proposition to a diverse range of business types (retail, hospitality, commercial, trades, etc.)
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in channel sales or managing key accounts to achieve sales targets
Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and grow partnerships within referral channels
Strong relationship-building and engagement skills, recognised as a valued partner by stakeholders
Solid business acumen with a clear understanding of SME owner motivators
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
