We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead growth for SellCord China. This is a remote role responsible for building relationships with potential clients, onboarding new brand partners, and driving business development activities. You will play a critical role in expanding SellCord’s presence as the top Walmart Marketplace agency. Regular travel is required to meet with clients, attend events, and support relationship management.
Job Responsibility:
Own and drive the full sales cycle for SellCord, from prospecting to closing and onboarding
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize growth within Walmart accounts, driving healthy joint business plans and long-term profitability
Build and maintain strong relationships with key Walmart stakeholders, including buyers, category managers, and leadership teams
Represent SellCord at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
Oversee client accounts by monitoring profitability, forecasting, and adherence to budget targets
Partner with Marketing, Operations, and cross-functional teams to execute online campaigns that maximize sales opportunities
Develop and lead strategic sales plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving revenue and profit targets
Lead webinars and training sessions for clients on best practices for growing Walmart accounts
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies as needed.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in B2B sales
Proven success in ecommerce, marketplace sales, or retail partnerships
Experience closing high-value accounts and managing a complex sales pipeline
Strong understanding of Walmart.com or marketplace ecosystems is preferred
Exceptional English communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel regularly to meet with clients and attend industry events
Highly self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
