Bolt is looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to grow and scale our Grocery&Retail operations by developing and launching new partnerships across the Bulgarian market. You'll play a key role in shaping our retail strategy in Bulgaria, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive business success and deliver the best possible experience for our partners and customers. This is a high-impact role where you’ll combine commercial acumen with strong operational execution, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Job Responsibility:
Securing new business by defining and engaging with key enterprise leads in the Grocery/Retail area
Negotiating and closing deals with potential business partners
Acting as the main contact for new business partners, guiding them through the onboarding process, and addressing operational issues
Maintaining ongoing relationship with partners to monitor and support their performance
Define and implement strategies around the monetisation of partners
Preparing and analyzing key performance indicators, identifying improvement points, and defining growth and marketing strategies
Owning the P&L and budgeting responsibilities for the Grocery/Retail vertical
Requirements:
3–5 years negotiating with enterprise size accounts (Business Development, B2B Sales, Account Management, or a similar role in the Grocery / Retail industry)
Proven track record of achieving business growth and sales targets and have experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L ownership
Fluent in both Bulgarian and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with decision-makers
Data-driven, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive partner success
