We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join this new business and support the growth across the on-trade. The Business Development Manager will be integral in growing this service across a wide range of on-trade venues, targeting major cities, key groups and independent outlets. This role is a high impact, field based role, which will give the candidate an opportunity to shape the business from the ground up.
Job Responsibility:
Drive field sales across your region, visiting venues regularly to build strong customer relationships
Identify and win new business across bars, restaurants, retailers, and wholesalers
Pitch and onboard new customers, showcasing the platform’s value and driving adoption
Support product launches, ensuring new drinks gain listings, visibility and trial in key accounts
Work closely with marketing to execute campaigns, promotions and brand visibility programmes
Manage and grow existing customer accounts, identifying opportunities to drive increased usage and sales
Use market insights and customer feedback to inform commercial strategy and improve performance
Requirements:
Strong background in field sales, business development or account management—ideally in drinks or FMCG
Proven success in winning new business and building commercial relationships
Experience launching or supporting new products in the on-trade or retail channels
Commercially minded with excellent negotiation and communication skills
Self-motivated, energetic and excited by a role that’s predominantly out in the market
Great stakeholder manager who enjoys working cross-functionally with marketing, operations and brand partners
