Job Description:

Are you ready to join a major player in the UK’s multi-utility network market, supporting over 1.5 million homes across the country? Our client is the UK's largest independent connections provider, covering electricity, water, wastewater, fibre, heat, and gas, and they are looking for a skilled Business Development Manager to join their expanding team. This is your chance to help drive customer loyalty and business growth through exceptional service in a leading utility infrastructure organisation with over 1,700 dedicated employees.

Job Responsibility:

Leading opportunity development, tendering, and customer negotiations
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to maximize sales potential within your designated area
Monitoring performance to achieve sales targets and working closely with the sales support team
Following up on leads, tracking competitor activity, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance the sales process and customer journey
Contributing to the launch of new products and services and participating in national sales events

Requirements:

Experience in the ICP/UIP/IDNO/ or utilities infrastructure sector
At least 2+ years in business development or sales
Proven track record in sales and project management within similar industries
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques
Ability to handle technically based products and services
Strong time-management skills

Bonus OTE £20,000 +
