The Company My client is a leading multi-utility infrastructure provider that has thousands of connections across the UK. You’ll join a business that is continuously expanding and winning many exciting projects in the electrical, gas, water and EV sectors of the utilities industry. The Role As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for customer and client interactions with ICPs for asset value and network adoption. You’ll ensure that all technical, legal and regulatory compliance is followed at all times whilst also developing relationships with connections customers to ensure continued progression of the business.
Job Responsibility:
Promote, sell, develop and secure opportunities for all products and services offered by the business
Being responsible for the assisting existing ICP customers
Deliver new business opportunities and the required delivery model to support opportunities in line with the company’s strategy
Implement and review business to business interactions to ensure effective operation against internal and external teams
Be the point of contact for all key interactions including conference calls, face to face meetings and strategy development
Have excellent communication skills and be able to keep customers informed on the progress of projects and any ongoing issues
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a Business Development or an Account Management role
DNO/IDNO or ICP knowledge or experience
Excellent time management skills
Full UK Driving Licence with ability to travel around the area
