As the Business Development Manager for Scotland & Ireland, you will play a crucial role in expanding Bizerba’s market presence and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients. Job Responsibility:
Identify and develop new business opportunities across Scotland and Ireland to achieve sales targets and company objectives
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closure
Work closely with internal teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to deliver exceptional client experiences
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for growth
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and reports to stakeholders at all levels
Represent Bizerba at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain up-to-date records within the CRM system
Requirements:
Proven track record in business development or sales within the technology, retail, or food industries, preferably with experience in weighing, slicing, or related equipment
Strong understanding of the Scottish and Irish markets and their commercial landscapes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a customer-focused approach
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region
