Business Development Manager

• Maintain and grow relationships with project wholesalers across South Australia
• Complete a minimum of five wholesaler visits per day
• Complete at least five contractor visits per week
• Identify project opportunities through audits, prospecting and branch engagement
• Travel to the Northern Territory one to two times per year to build market presence

• Experience in business development or account management within lighting, electrical wholesale or a related sector
• Project lighting experience, including identifying opportunities and conducting lighting audits
• A track record of growing sales across existing accounts and winning new business
• Experience managing a regional territory from a home office
• Strong relationship management skills with wholesalers, contractors and branch stakeholders
• A valid driver’s licence
• Working rights aligned with long-term employment in Australia
• Willingness to travel across South Australia and periodically to the Northern Territory

Experience working against similar KPOs, particularly where you have managed frequent face-to-face visits, increased share of wallet within branch networks and built contractor pipelines

• Travel expenses covered for Northern Territory trips
• Annual travel to Perth for team connection and business updates
• Initial training in Perth
• A month-long handover with the outgoing BDM
• Autonomy in your territory
• Support from internal teams when project quotes are needed
