Business Development Manager (New Logo) in our growing global sales team, representing the GlobalData Energy & Industrials Practice covering Power Generation, Construction, Mining, Renewables & Oil & Gas. You will be an energetic, driven and reward-motivated salesperson located in our Sydney, Australia office in a hybrid role selling to APAC territory.
Job Responsibility:
Selling mid-value, specialised information solutions to clients
Conduct effective business development activity through (mainly) phone calls & live online demonstrations of our solutions to C-Suite
Articulate a winning business proposition that is tailored to the prospect’s business objectives and desired outcomes
Achieve monthly new logo quota through effective sales outreach
Qualify the client’s organizational structure, available budget, and decision process to ensure accurate forecasts of new logo opportunities
Requirements:
3-5+ years of proven BDM/new logo sales experience in the sectors of either Information services/Data analytics or media/subscription sales
Experience selling into the large-scale Energy & Industrials Practice sector or similar preferred
Hunter mentality, with the desire to build a professional career in the Information Services industry and a growth mindset
Proven history of hitting sales quotas and KPI’s including achieving monthly/quarterly/annual quota’s consistently
High level of proficiency in written & spoken English
Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to articulate a compelling message and influence, persuade and negotiate with all levels of people to achieve win-win situations
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Experience facilitating strong C-level meetings
Effective prioritization and time management skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite & Salesforce or similar
