Carbiz is looking for a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to join our growing Sales team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across the Central Coast region while building strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners. You’ll work closely with the Sales and Operations team to drive growth, expand market presence, and deliver exceptional service experiences. Job Responsibility
Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within your allocated geographical area
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients and referral partners
Educate clients and partners on Carbiz’s services, initiatives, and points of difference
Manage and nurture new client relationships to support long-term growth
Maintain detailed activity logs, visit records, and business commentary for reporting purposes
Collaborate closely with internal sales and partnership teams to support business growth initiatives
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities
Requirements
Experience in face-to-face/field-based Sales, Account Management or Business Development preferred but not essential
Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally as required
Proven experience fostering long-term relationships and service with customers and/or clients
Excellent interpersonal and partnership-building skills
Well-developed verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to assist team members to ensure excellent customer service delivery
