Business Development Manager – Motor Finance. Admiral Money is the dynamic lending arm of Admiral Group, offering personal loans, motor finance, and homeowner loans since 2017. We’re building something special for our customers and are looking for curious, driven individuals ready to learn, take on challenges, and make an impact. We’re recruiting for three Business Development Manager roles, each aligned to a specific UK region: South West, South East, and Scotland. This is a field‑based role, so a full UK driving licence is essential. You can expect to be on the road around 4 days per week, with 1 day working from home for admin and planning.
Develop and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders
Understand client requirements and tailor finance solutions
Work collaboratively with dealers
Support risk management and complaint resolution
Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and deliver sales strategies
Identify new business opportunities
Present finance solutions
Agree commercial terms, pricing, and contractual agreements
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research
Analyse market data and customer feedback
Support the dealer network with data‑driven insights
Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with the Key Account Manager
Collaborate with internal teams
Share market feedback internally
Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records
Produce regular reports
Carry out regular dealer reviews and performance analysis
Compliance and Regulatory Awareness: Remain up to date with industry regulations
Maintain awareness of developments relating to the electrification of the UK car parc
Support the dealer network with guidance on regulatory changes
Requirements:
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Analytical approach with the ability to interpret data and market trends
Self‑motivated and results‑focused, with the ability to work independently
Strong stakeholder management skills
Confident using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools
Proven track record of success in a sales environment
Strong attention to detail
Eagerness to learn and develop
Collaborative approach and ability to work well in a team environment
Motivation to build a long‑term career within a FTSE 100 organisation
Full UK driving licence
Nice to have:
Experience with B2B distribution channels
Strong analytical capability
Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced, changing environment
Experience or strong knowledge of: B2B field sales / Digital innovation / Working within highly regulated industries
What we offer:
33 days holiday (including bank holidays) when they join us, increasing the longer you stay with us, up to a maximum of 38 days (including bank holidays)
