The Business Development Manager will have full ownership of directly managing a portfolio of customers within the Convenience Channel. pladis is the top tier Biscuit manufacturer with three nationally loved brands; McVities, Jacobs and Go Ahead; and annual revenue of £667m. We are the 9th biggest FMCG company and 3rd fastest growing in the UK. The hard-working UK Sales Team at pladis employs approximately 150 people across functions including account management, category management and customer marketing. The Team coordinates the delivery of the commercial budgets across the UK, split into three channels: Grocery; Convenience & Impulse; and Discounters.
Job Responsibility:
Management of Customer Relationships - you will be the main point of contact for buyers across a number of managed convenience customers
Financial Rigor - You will have full P&L responsibility for your accounts
Team Working – The role provides great opportunity to work cross functionally
Business Building – We need you to develop and deliver annual strategic account plans for your customers to deliver customer, category and brand objectives
Requirements:
Extensive experience in a customer facing role
