This role is responsible for driving business growth within Teradyne’s Nextest Division by developing strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities across global markets. The Business Development Manager partners closely with sales, product marketing, and technical teams to position Nextest solutions and successfully close complex opportunities.
Job Responsibility:
Lead customer engagement at both engineering and business levels to build long-term, trusted relationships
Develop and execute account strategies in close collaboration with regional and global Sales teams
Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through a structured discovery process
Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Field Applications, partners, and customers to drive opportunities to successful close
Build win-win scenarios that align customer needs with Nextest and partner capabilities
Support cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives across global time zones
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, Sales, or related field OR equivalent experience with a strong business background
8–12 years of relevant experience in semiconductor test, semiconductor industry, or related business development roles
Proven experience selling semiconductor test equipment and supporting global customers
Demonstrated “design-in” business development track record
Strong program and project management experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple time zones
Salesforce proficiency preferred
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and energized by relationship-building in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%
