As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying, shaping and delivering new commercial growth opportunities for Virgin Atlantic Holidays. Working agnostically across channels, you’ll focus on reaching new customers through internal and external partnerships. You’ll take opportunities from early concept through to launch, working closely with Trading, Product, Brand, Distribution and Delivery teams to ensure initiatives are commercially robust, operationally sound, and deliver against agreed objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and develop new commercial opportunities across Flying Club, corporate customers, brand partnerships and distribution channels
Build and present compelling business cases to secure internal alignment and investment
Lead negotiations with external partners, ensuring alignment with brand, commercial and customer objectives
Act as commercial lead for onboarding new initiatives, from contract through to operational launch
Coordinate cross-functionally across Product, Digital, Marketing, Retail and Operations to enable delivery
Oversee performance tracking, ROI and in-life optimisation of initiatives
Ensure smooth handover of live activity into business-as-usual ownership while retaining partner relationship oversight
Requirements:
Strong experience in business development or partnerships within travel, retail, lifestyle or hospitality
Entrepreneurial mindset with confidence originating and shaping new opportunities
Proven ability to take deals from concept through to operational launch
Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
Customer-focused with an appreciation for premium brand delivery
Comfort managing multiple initiatives in parallel within a fast-paced environment
