We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our client base and drive revenue growth for our design and development services. The ideal candidate will be a strategic hunter, possessing a strong understanding of the digital landscape and a proven track record of generating qualified leads through proactive business research and intelligence. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, market analysis skills, and a deep understanding of the design and development industry.
Job Responsibility:
Proactively identify and research potential clients in target industries, focusing on companies with design and development needs
Utilize business intelligence tools and resources to gather market data, identify trends and analyze competitor activity
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through targeted outreach, networking and strategic research
Conduct in-depth analysis of client needs and pain points to tailor solutions and proposals effectively
Develop and maintain a database of potential clients and their key decision-makers
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
Conduct compelling presentations and demonstrations of our design and development services
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements
Collaborate with project management and development teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and project delivery
Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive threats
Provide insights and recommendations to refine our service offerings and marketing strategies
Stay up-to-date on the latest design and development technologies and industry best practices
Contribute to the development of sales and marketing materials
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and lead generation efforts in our CRM system
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market insights
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the design and technology industry
Strong understanding of the digital landscape in design and development technologies
Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret market data
Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently
Proficiency in CRM systems and business intelligence tools
Ability to travel as required
