Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading CDMO focused on finished dosage form (FDF) and inhalation product services, who is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand their customer base across specialty and global markets. Job Responsibility:
Developing and executing strategic plans to generate new revenue across FDF and inhalation service lines
Identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities with biotech and pharmaceutical companies
Building and expanding strong relationships with decision‑makers in technical, procurement, and executive functions
Presenting the company’s capabilities and value proposition with clarity and credibility
Collaborating closely with internal technical, operations, and leadership teams to advance proposals, support technical discussions, and ensure customer satisfaction
Attending industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings to build brand presence and generate pipeline
Requirements:
Proven business development experience (typically 5+ years) within a CDMO, CRO, or pharmaceutical services organisation
Demonstrable experience selling FDF (finished dosage form) and inhalation formulation/development/manufacturing services – solid understanding of inhalation modalities is essential
A track record of managing full sales cycles and closing complex commercial opportunities
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with technical and executive stakeholders
Ability to work independently with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset
Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events
