As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for driving regional sales performance, identifying new opportunities and ensuring seamless delivery of solutions by collaborating closely with internal teams.
Job Responsibility:
Drive new business growth through a high volume of quality client visits and meetings
Develop and execute regional strategies to expand the client base and maximise sales opportunities
Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities across target markets
Act as the primary contact for a strategic distribution partner in Ireland, nurturing and developing the partnership
Create, update, and own a regional business plan that adapts to changing market requirements
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth integration of solutions for customers
Arrange, prepare, and deliver product demonstrations
Communicate product solutions clearly and confidently to prospective clients
Prepare quotations, manage a healthy sales pipeline, and provide accurate forecasting
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
Monitor competitor activity and provide regular market intelligence updates
Gather and share customer insights to support continuous product and service improvements
Requirements:
Proven experience generating new business and meeting structured visit/activity targets
Strong sales strategy skills with the ability to grow and retain a diverse customer base
Excellent relationship builder with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Confident identifying and pursuing opportunities in target markets
Skilled in managing channel partnerships, ideally with international elements
Able to develop and maintain a robust business plan for your territory
Comfortable working across functions to ensure strong service delivery
Experienced in conducting meetings, demonstrations, and presenting solutions
Strong communicator with the ability to prepare quotations and maintain a healthy pipeline
Target driven with a track record of achieving sales KPIs
Commercially aware, with the ability to track competitor activity and respond accordingly
Customer focused, always seeking insights to improve product offering and client satisfaction
