Job Responsibility:
Develop and continually improve the Business Development Strategy by conducting competitive analysis, leveraging client insights, and collaborating with stakeholders
Develop and implement a Client Relationship Management Strategy, engaging in the broader business and teams, establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships and managing client relationships across regions, leading to new opportunities
Ability to effectively qualify and scope opportunities by assessing client needs, project requirements, and organizational fit to ensure successful delivery and maximum client value
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote Mining Plus's services
Maintain the client and lead database
Work closely with internal teams, including technical experts, project managers, and marketing, to ensure the successful delivery of proposals
Provide feedback, development opportunities, and mentoring business development skills to team members and business unit leaders
Requirements:
10+ years' experience in business development with a strong understanding of the mining industry and technical mining services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
A technical engineering background is highly regarded but not required
Proven track record in developing and maintaining long-term client relationships, with an emphasis on client advocacy and balancing client-business needs
Proven track record of driving business growth, achieving targets, and exceeding client expectations
