We are working with a well-established European food business looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across Industrial, B2B, Food Service and HORECA channels. This is a true business development role, suited to someone who enjoys opening doors, developing new markets and building long-term customer relationships within the food industry.
Job Responsibility:
Identifying and developing new business opportunities across European markets
Building relationships with industrial food manufacturers, distributors, food service operators and HORECA customers
Managing the full commercial cycle, from prospecting through to negotiation and closing
Representing the company at customer meetings, trade exhibitions and industry events
Working closely with technical, marketing and supply chain teams to deliver customer solutions
Requirements:
B2B sales experience within the food industry
Knowledge of Industrial, Food Service or HORECA channels
Enjoy developing new business rather than managing existing accounts
Commercially minded and confident working with numbers
Comfortable building relationships and negotiating with customers
Comfortable with travel as part of a business development role
Fluent English
Existing relationships with distributors, industrial food manufacturers or HORECA operators would be highly advantageous
Nice to have:
French or German would be beneficial
