Job Responsibility:
To obtain new customers as per the sales target
To maintain existing customers
Prepare Sales Order Forms with the advice of Customer Service
Prepare quotations for services for both potential and existing customers
Host overseas sales visitors and national route development managers as required (this may require evening and/or weekend entertainment of visitor)
Qualify prospective customers via telephone or in person
In conjunction with Service Department, send rate and service level instructions to appropriate overseas offices of the Hellmann network
Taking appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence of non-conformances
Requirements:
At least 3+ years' minimum experience in a Business Development manager role
Global freight forwarding & selling experience: 2 years’ experience preferred
Comfortable taking charge of a situation and of making decisions independently
Expresses opinions and ideas in a self-assured manner
Prefers adopting a structured approach to tasks
Load restraint knowledge
Outstanding time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Great communication skills with high attention to detail
