A leading law firm specializing in complex commercial litigation is seeking a Temporary Business Development Manager to support their team. Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute strategies to support the firm’s practice and industry groups, focusing on targeted business development initiatives
Assist lawyers in preparing compelling pitches, RFP responses, and presentations, including content development and coaching
Provide strategic client development guidance, helping lawyers identify opportunities to grow existing relationships and pursue new prospects
Oversee research efforts to gather competitive intelligence and industry insights, utilizing findings to inform BD strategies
Manage, mentor, and coordinate junior team members in producing BD materials, organizing events, and supporting thought leadership initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as marketing, strategic planning, or related fields
Over 7 years of experience in marketing, business development, or client service within a professional services or legal environment
Proven skills in developing strategic initiatives, managing projects, and creating persuasive pitch and proposal materials
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaborative team relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems and BD reporting tools
