Bluevine acquires new clients through direct marketing activities and through partnerships. In this role, you will lead Bluevine’s influencer program and own our relationships with affiliate partners — including comparison sites, broker platforms, and communities — with the goal of maximizing customer acquisition now and in the future through these types of partners. This role will drive acquisition for Bluevine overall, as these partners often do (or could) generate and channel interest in multiple Bluevine products. You will engage directly and deeply with affiliates, influencers, and channel partners, acting as their primary Bluevine contact, while simultaneously expanding our reach through smaller or emerging partners that require more scaled and systematic management. You will also explore new types of partnerships that can introduce more small business owners to Bluevine. Fundamentally, you will own the outcomes of this acquisition channel and are excited about carrying that mandate. Success in the role will build a strong foundation for expanded scope and long-term professional growth at Bluevine.
Job Responsibility:
Own and scale Bluevine’s influencer program, from sourcing and activation through ongoing management and performance optimization
Source, negotiate, and close new partnerships with creators, influencer networks, communities, and affiliate platforms aligned with Bluevine’s brand and small business audience
Manage and grow relationships with key influencer and affiliate partners, ensuring strong performance, accurate brand representation, and opportunities for deeper collaboration
Develop scalable processes to systematically manage and expand longtail partners, driving efficiency, consistency, and measurable results
Track and analyze partner performance across channels, identifying trends, optimizing conversion funnels, and reporting on KPIs and ROI
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Revenue Enablement, Legal, and Brand teams to craft messaging, develop materials, and structure agreements that maximize impact
Drive innovation in acquisition strategy, exploring new partner categories and emerging channels to expand Bluevine’s reach among small business audiences
Contribute to channel strategy and forecasting, providing data-driven insights and recommendations that inform leadership decisions
Maintain strong operational rigor through disciplined use of CRM and analytics tools for pipeline management, outreach tracking, and performance insights
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, consulting, investment banking or similar
Proven ability to build, influence, and grow high-impact partnerships, including both strategic relationships and a broad portfolio of longtail partners managed systematically for scale
Demonstrated drive, adaptability, and ownership — you thrive when given ambitious goals and work creatively and persistently to achieve them
Strong written and verbal communication skills, quantitative skills, and overall business acumen
Effective cross-functional collaborator, able to work closely with Marketing, Brand, Legal, and Product teams to execute complex partner initiatives
Curiosity and passion for financial technology and Bluevine’s mission to help small businesses thrive
High integrity, professionalism, and a growth mindset — you take pride in representing Bluevine externally and contributing to our culture of excellence
