Job Responsibility
Coordinate the end-to-end development of RFP, RFI, and proposal responses
draft first versions of capability statements, credentials decks, and pitch materials
maintain and regularly update a credentials library and case study database
produce and update pitch decks, backgrounders, and presentation materials
coordinate inputs from content, digital, research, and design colleagues
identify opportunities to strengthen proposal quality
maintain the firm’s CRM (HubSpot)
track all active BD opportunities from initial lead through close
prepare regular pipeline and activity reports
work with the SVP and firm leadership to ensure the CRM reflects current priorities
build and maintain target account lists
manage action items and follow-up from BD meetings, prospect calls, and internal strategy sessions
coordinate strategic account planning efforts
maintain BD calendars, pursuit timelines, and planning documentation
support annual BD planning
partner with the firm’s research function to develop prospect briefing materials, target lists, competitive intelligence summaries, and market trend analyses
ensure research outputs are effectively integrated
monitor industry developments and competitor activity
support identification of relevant speaking opportunities, sponsorships, and industry events
commit to continuous learning

Requirements
Three to five years of relevant experience in business development, BD operations, or a closely related function
prior experience at a PR or communications agency, law firm, professional services organization, or large consulting firm is strongly preferred
demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder proposal and pitch processes
highly organized with exceptional project management skills
strong writer
proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
working knowledge of CRM platforms (HubSpot or Salesforce)
analytical and research-oriented
proactive, self-directed, and collaborative
professional, collegial, and service-oriented
highly resourceful and a critical thinker
knowledge of the legal and professional services landscape, or a demonstrated eagerness to develop it quickly.
