We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Bristol & South West team. In this role, you’ll help us sign up the best restaurants in the region, improving our proposition for customers and identifying ways to fuel our rapid growth across the South West and Wales.
Job Responsibility:
Map, pitch, and close new restaurant partners across your region
Connect with restaurant owners through physical visits, calls, and digital platforms to demonstrate the value of Deliveroo’s technology
Oversee the end-to-end partner onboarding process to ensure it is as quick and efficient as possible for the merchant
Take ownership of a partner’s first eight weeks on the platform, ensuring they are set up for long-term growth and high performance
Stay ahead of industry trends by attending food meet-ups and sampling high-quality food from potential partners
Requirements:
Proven experience in 'hunting' roles with the ability to structure win-win deals
Strong understanding of the economics of food delivery and ability to work towards demanding monthly targets
Exceptional communication skills and ability to build rapport face-to-face, over the phone, and via email
Genuine interest in the food and restaurant scene with ability to demonstrate product value
A self-starter with a valid driving licence and car, comfortable being out on the road and taking full ownership of their region
