We have an exciting new role for a Business Development Manager working regionally with the primary aim of winning and developing revenue streams from large customers in the construction/utilities / mechanical & electrical sectors.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and manage a Regional project and portfolio pipeline to drive new business growth through relevant sales channels and business sectors
Identify new markets and underpenetrated sectors and create a strategy to gain traction and market share
Develop systems and controls for pricing to improve governance, discounting and overall ROI
Managing customer accounts from setting up agreements to account queries and working with credit control
Creating new opportunities to expand the business
Working closely with the sales and operations teams to develop and deliver a commercial strategy for our products in order to achieve high ROI goals in accordance with business objectives
Optimizing revenue incomes, and identifying and marketing differentiated value propositions through alternative markets and growth sectors
Requirements:
Considerable sales experience of working closely with large customers
Commercial Acumen – to ensure competitive contracts are proposed and bid for
Tender & Bid writing – able to contribute to sizeable bid opportunities
Excellent communication and presentation skills – both internally and externally
Good understanding of hire contracts and terms
Teamwork – able to work across teams and across the company to build customers proposals and form commercial contracts
Already undertaken an Account Management role
Significant experience in the Plant and Tool Hire Industry, preferably in a Sales role
Experience, confidence and ability to positively and professionally represent our company and develop strong and successful relationships with key external stakeholders
Experience and ability to lead on tender bids ensuring profitability and good ROI
