Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and strengthen market presence across the region. This role focuses on building productive relationships with clients and brokers, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering results aligned with annual sales and financial goals. The ideal candidate brings a strong commercial mindset, a proactive approach to direct selling, and the ability to manage a territory with discipline and professionalism.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute regional business development plans that support annual targets for case volume, revenue, and overall profitability
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with clients, prospects, and broker networks to expand business opportunities within the assigned market
  • Lead direct sales efforts by identifying prospective clients, presenting solutions, and advancing opportunities through the full sales cycle
  • Monitor sales performance, track pipeline activity, and adjust outreach strategies to improve market penetration and results
  • Manage customer relationships with a focus on retention, service quality, and long-term account growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals, pricing, and client support activities align with business objectives and customer needs
  • Evaluate regional market conditions, competitor activity, and emerging trends to uncover new avenues for growth
  • Oversee territory expenses responsibly while contributing to broader financial objectives, including contribution to overhead

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, territory growth, or a comparable sales-focused role
  • Strong direct sales skills with the ability to generate leads, develop relationships, and close new business
  • Proven ability to increase sales and meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Effective relationship management skills, including experience working with clients, partners, or brokers
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to analyze market opportunities and translate insights into practical sales strategies
