We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to support growth across key accounts and win new business. This role is focused on delivering sales performance, building customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities across our core products and services.
Job Responsibility
Grow existing accounts and secure new business
Deliver against sales and margin targets
Identify and convert new opportunities
Execute customer account plans
Support bids, tenders and project activity
Manage vendor approvals (AVLs)
Promote core products, services, and partnerships
Maintain CRM accuracy, pipeline, and reporting
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Work with internal teams to deliver customer solutions
Support marketing campaigns and initiatives
Represent the business at industry events
Support annual budgeting with the Branch Manager
Requirements
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Commercially focused with a results-driven approach
Good time management and organisational skills
Confident, proactive and professional
Ability to analyse information and identify opportunities
Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong IT skills (CRM experience desirable)
Minimum National 5 (or equivalent)
Full UK Driving Licence
Knowledge of Ex and industrial lighting preferred
Awareness of relevant products and manufacturer portfolios
