Job Description

Stevenswood Trade Counters Ltd is a dedicated supplier of PVCu and aluminium windows, doors, glass, conservatories and accessories. We are expanding our Sales division and looking for a Business Development Manager to cover our North of England region. This candidate will have strong product knowledge within Windows and Doors with a demonstrable trace record on providing sales expertise and field base impetus to help deliver profitable sales growth for our trade counter branches.

Job Responsibility

  • Approach identified and targeted potential customers to build relationships, introduce product range and service offering to increase customer base and sales
  • Lead on developing sales opportunities with existing key accounts – maximising customer spend by increasing product ranges supplied, reducing duel sourcing
  • Support and help develop the branch led sales activity
  • A field-based role with extensive travel to work across branch network and visit potential customers within the region

Requirements

  • Strong product knowledge of uPVC Windows and doors
  • Demonstrable track record of field based sales development success
  • Commerciality, drive and passion to achieve
  • Genuine customer focus
  • First class communication and people skills
  • Ability to easily connect with and engage customers using an approachable and consultative approach
  • To live within the territory
  • Comfortable with travel across a large geographical area
