The Business Development Manager identifies, evaluates and manages new business opportunities and market initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Driving New Business Development: Identify, assess, develop and manage new programs and new business opportunities
Work with prospective customers to identify unmet needs, implement initiatives to meet those needs
Responsible for opportunity analysis and the development and execution of business development and new venture development plans
Identify and evaluate business prospects for consideration that fit within the vision and capabilities of the business
Identify and evaluate new opportunities building off of existing technologies to new or existing customers
Business and Trade data analyze and interpret sales data: Utilize the Business Analysis tools to map out the potential business opportunities with solid action plan and implementation
Regular customer data analysis, rebate analysis, new program ROI analysis, Sales Forecast
Support ad hoc projects on reviewing, understanding the systems, providing input to improvement the systems so that more detail analysis at program level can be done for Sales Teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 5 years' business development, sales, product management, marketing or other directly related experience
Background from apparel & footwear industries would be an advantage
Proficient in assessing customer needs to convert into the business opportunities
Negotiation skills/experience
Strong financial skills and business acumen
Knowledgeable on conducting market and territory analysis and planning
Ability to present data in logical concise manner
Skilled in project / process management and meeting facilitation
