As a Business Development Manager with AWC you will be responsible for promoting and demonstrating instrumentation solutions with our Account Managers to customers along the Texas Gulf Coast. This includes being the go-to SME on Clark-Reliance and level instrumentation technologies. The Business Development Manager will often work with customers to train on Clark-Reliance and select solutions for their projects and applications. Business Development Manager will coordinate with Technical Account Managers to demonstrate sizing and selection, diagnostic capabilities, troubleshoot installations, and communicate best practices. This role will also interface and organize efforts with the Technology Partners relative to level measurement. The level measurement solutions apply to a variety of industrial applications predominantly in refining, chemical, upstream & midstream oil & gas, and any industrial utility application. The successful candidate must be innovative, passionate, and resourceful while demonstrating technical skills.
Job Responsibility:
Promote and demonstrate instrumentation solutions with Account Managers to customers along the Texas Gulf Coast
Be the go-to SME on Clark-Reliance and level instrumentation technologies
Work with customers to train on Clark-Reliance and select solutions for their projects and applications
Coordinate with Technical Account Managers to demonstrate sizing and selection, diagnostic capabilities, troubleshoot installations, and communicate best practices
Interface and organize efforts with the Technology Partners relative to level measurement
Provide technical support to customers and sales teams, addressing questions and resolving issues related to flow control products
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, offering solutions and recommendations
Conduct product training sessions for customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders
Create and deliver product demonstrations, showcasing features and benefits
Develop training materials to support product training and customer education
Building, assembling and testing solutions for measurement and control lab based on new engineering products and technologies
Conduct regular customer site visits to reinforce the AWC value proposition
Collaborate with sales teams to support pre-sales activities, identifying target accounts
Participate in customer meetings to understand their needs and recommend suitable instrumentation solutions
Provide technical expertise during the sales process, addressing customer questions and concerns
Regulator interface and feedback to the technology partners as needed
Work closely with engineering and solution development teams to provide feedback from customers and sales teams
Contribute to product roadmaps and development plans based on customer needs and market trends
Participate in product testing and validation to ensure quality and functionality
Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, product guides, and FAQs
Ensure technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to customers and internal teams
Support and direct operational capacities relative to the product portfolio (assembly, repair, field services)
Ensure operations is up to speed on developments or changes to the technology portfolio
Requirements:
Proven experience in technical support, product management or related role in the process industry
Solid knowledge base of process control products, industrial equipment or related technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Ability and confidence to conduct presentations
Proficient with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to learn new technologies, demonstrate and discuss with customers
Nice to have:
Industry experience as an Account Manager, App Engineer, or Product Manager
Ability to develop strong relationships with Technology Partners
Knowledge of Instrumentation
