Job Description:

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Business Development Manager to win, develop, and grow relationships with housing developers and housebuilders. This role focuses on selling Solar PV solutions and associated low‑carbon technologies into newbuild residential projects. The successful candidate will take the lead on consultative, specification‑led sales, supporting clients in meeting Building Regulations, planning conditions, and sustainability targets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify, win, and grow new business opportunities with housing developers, housebuilders, and construction partners
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through to contract award
  • Promote Solar PV and related low‑carbon technologies into newbuild residential markets
  • Provide consultative, technical guidance to clients on regulations, planning conditions, sustainability objectives, and viable system design options
  • Build strong, long‑term relationships with key stakeholders and decision‑makers in the construction and residential development sectors
  • Develop client‑specific proposals, specifications, and pricing packages
  • Monitor market developments, industry changes, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal design, engineering, and project delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover

Requirements:

  • Background in construction or residential development (essential)
  • Understanding of Solar PV, low‑carbon technologies, or renewable energy (advantageous
