Job Description:

As Business Development Manager - Sales & Promotions, you will be part of our Special Sales Team and responsible for all special sales and promotional activities in our Westwing Shop. In this role, you will manage seasonal sales and on-site product promotions to drive revenue growth and support major sales events such as Black Friday. This position is permanent and based in Munich.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and execute sales events and promotions on Westwing Shop to excite customers, increase customer lifetime value and drive repeat purchases, using data- and AI-supported insights where appropriate
  • Monitor, analyse and report on sales and promotional performance, evaluating campaign effectiveness and identifying optimisation opportunities
  • Develop innovative concepts for future sales events by analysing past performance, industry trends and competitor activity
  • Run key projects, including e.g., end-to-end management of our beloved Advent Calendar
  • Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing and Pricing teams, while building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a coordinated sales approach

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional working experience with a proven track record, preferably in eCommerce, Sales & Marketing or Consulting
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyse and interpret large data sets, combined with a pragmatic, hands-on attitude and a strong focus on results
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
