Job Responsibility:
Strategic Partnership Management: Proactively identify and cultivate long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and contractors, establishing yourself as their preferred execution partner for modular projects
Lead Generation & Conversion: Conduct thorough research on prospective accounts and manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and site visits to submitting compelling proposals and successfully closing deals
Technical Consultation: Offer insightful design improvements and functional upgrades based on space utility, while clearly explaining the technical constraints of modular construction (e.g., kitchen/wardrobe logic) to ensure designs are feasible
Project Documentation: Prepare detailed project quotations, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and accurate cost estimations
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Seamlessly coordinate with design and production teams to guarantee that 'what is promised' is delivered accurately and on time, exceeding client expectations
Market Analysis: Continuously monitor competitor pricing, product trends, and emerging lifestyle preferences to inform and refine our business strategies
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, or Interior Design. An MBA or PGDM is often preferred
Typically 4–10 years of experience in sales or business development within the interior, building materials, or modular furniture industry
Deep understanding of modular cabinetry logic (kitchens/wardrobes), hardware fittings, and general interior materials
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho), MS Office (especially Excel for BOQs), and potentially design/estimation software
Consultative Selling: Ability to 'sell the dream' while remaining grounded in technical feasibility and project timelines
Negotiation & Persuasion: Strong skills to justify project costs, manage margins effectively, and cater to the unique requirements of High Net-Worth Individual (HNI) clients
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple site visits, delivery schedules, and client feedback simultaneously
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for presenting design concepts and conducting in-depth technical discussions
