Job Responsibility:
Developing the financial analysis, valuation work, and commercial research that underpin investment decisions across the Group
Building robust financial models
Leading elements of due diligence
Supporting negotiations on valuation, structure, and governance matters
Producing clear, well structured materials for senior stakeholders and Board consideration
Working closely with senior stakeholders to progress business development initiatives
Supporting the ongoing oversight of minority investments, monitoring performance against investment cases and advising on capital requirements, risks, and value-creation opportunities
Contributing to the development of the Investment Arm’s strategic planning, budgeting, and analytical frameworks
Requirements:
Strong financial and analytical capability
Background in accountancy, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or a related investment environment
Approximately 6–8 years’ relevant experience
Clear and confident communicator
Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and operating independently on complex, ambiguous projects
Experience working with minority investments and governance structures
Accustomed to engaging with Board level or investment committee discussions
Experience within a family office or similar investment environment would be advantageous
Familiarity with investments in green energy or consumer focused sectors such as spirits markets would be advantageous
Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively within a developing function, where processes and precedent continue to evolve
