Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Professional for our Government Vertical business. The candidate will be responsible for driving business growth across Central Government, State Government, PSU, Defense, Smart City, Railway, and Enterprise Government projects. The role requires strong relationship management, tendering expertise, and end-to-end sales cycle ownership.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive business development and sales activities for Government & PSU accounts
  • Identify and develop new opportunities in Central Government, State Government, Defense, Railways, Smart City, and allied sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, SI partners, consultants, and OEMs
  • Manage complete sales lifecycle including lead generation, proposal submission, tender participation, negotiation, and closure
  • Coordinate with technical, presales, and delivery teams for solution designing and bid submissions
  • Track government tenders through GeM, CPPP, and other procurement portals
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Develop strategic account plans and market penetration strategies
  • Ensure timely collection and payment follow-ups from customers
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–6 years of experience in Government / PSU Sales
  • Strong understanding of Government procurement processes and tendering
  • Experience working with System Integrators, OEMs, and Channel Partners
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Networking, Surveillance, Data Center, or Managed Services solutions will be preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts
  • Existing relationships within Government departments and PSUs will be an added advantage.
