Join IKEA's dynamic global Food purchasing business. We are searching for a talented Business Development Manager for the Protein Category, to lead and innovate within our flourishing food landscape. At IKEA's Category Area Food, we are dedicated to sourcing and serving the food enjoyed by over 500 million guests worldwide in our Restaurants, Bistros, and Swedish Food Markets. Our international team of over 180 colleagues is strategically situated across Europe, North America, Asia, and beyond, ensuring close collaboration with our supplier partners.

Job Responsibility:

  • Elevate supplier partnerships and advance our supplier landscape
  • Set strategic business directions through clear Action Plans
  • Enhance the end-to-end value chain, crafting improved products at competitive costs
  • Lead compliance with relevant industry regulations and working methods
  • Establish and oversee cost budgets
  • Act as One IKEA across all core processes
  • Contribute proactively to the Category Management Team’s future strategy and development of Category Plans
  • Lead an inspiring team of professionals with diverse backgrounds in China, Japan, and additional Asian markets
  • Oversee the competence agenda, recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning
  • Motivate, mentor, and coach your team
