What is Packaging Division? Within the broader MTX Group ecosystem, packaging is one of the key strategic areas alongside metals, energy, and trading. The division is linked to aluminium-based packaging materials (foils, laminates, etc.) and their commercialisation, tied to our group companies like AL INVEST and TAPA Tabor. Packaging Division at Metalimex handles trading and business development of packaging materials and we work with mainly industrial customers (e.g., FMCG, food packaging).
Job Responsibility:
Execute Metalimex’s commercial strategy and contribute to achieving business objectives
Conduct market research and segmentation to support growth across products and customer segments
Monitor competitors, including pricing, product offerings, delivery terms, and technological developments
Evaluate and improve marketing processes
contribute to strategic marketing planning
Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high satisfaction and responsiveness to needs
Support resolution of customer claims and ensure service quality
Identify and develop new business opportunities
prepare and deliver presentations and pricing proposals
Ensure accurate reporting and information flow within assigned responsibilities
Provide structured updates through travel reports and weekly reporting
Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the direct manager
Requirements:
University
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Previous experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles
Proven experience in B2B packaging industry, ideally with plastic and flexible packaging
Ideally demonstrated responsibility for the Polish market, with broader exposure to CEE & Baltic regions
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships
Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset
Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis
Willingness to travel - this role involves frequent business trips, primarily across the CEE region
