Job Description

Dynamic business development role focused on generating new electrical service revenue across WA while supporting account retention and business scaling. Opportunity to help shape a newer service line within an established business, with scope to influence market approach and contribute to growth over the next three to five years.

Job Responsibility

  • Secure new electrical service contracts across WA
  • Develop sales strategies for commercial and industrial clients
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and tender submissions
  • Manage key client relationships and identify upsell pathways
  • Support process improvement, resource planning and business scaling
  • Build internal relationships, learn the CRM and pricing tools, understand the bid process, and work with technical teams to position the service offering in market

Requirements

  • Proven success in business development roles
  • Experience selling services in electrical, FM or trade sectors
  • Capability in tenders, proposals, quoting and presentations
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to sell on value
  • Experience building relationships with commercial or industrial clients
  • Confidence using CRM, pricing and marketing tools
  • Strong skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to KPOs linked to growth, retention and process improvement
  • A trade or technical background is useful but not essential
  • Persistence, internal selling skills and the ability to work across technical and operational teams in a corporate environment
