Dynamic business development role focused on generating new electrical service revenue across WA while supporting account retention and business scaling. Opportunity to help shape a newer service line within an established business, with scope to influence market approach and contribute to growth over the next three to five years.
Job Responsibility:
Secure new electrical service contracts across WA
Develop sales strategies for commercial and industrial clients
Prepare proposals, quotations and tender submissions
Manage key client relationships and identify upsell pathways
Support process improvement, resource planning and business scaling
Build internal relationships, learn the CRM and pricing tools, understand the bid process, and work with technical teams to position the service offering in market
Requirements:
Proven success in business development roles
Experience selling services in electrical, FM or trade sectors
Capability in tenders, proposals, quoting and presentations
Strong commercial judgement and the ability to sell on value
Experience building relationships with commercial or industrial clients
Confidence using CRM, pricing and marketing tools
Strong skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Exposure to KPOs linked to growth, retention and process improvement
A trade or technical background is useful but not essential
Persistence, internal selling skills and the ability to work across technical and operational teams in a corporate environment
