We are a leading national IT Managed Services provider with a dedicated and growing Education Division, supporting both state and independent schools across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new business within the Independent Schools sector across the South of England and London. This is a high-impact, field-based role suited to someone who understands the education landscape, has strong existing networks, and knows how to sell complex managed IT services. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within Independent Schools, working closely with technical and delivery teams to create compelling solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Drive new logo acquisition within Independent Schools
Build and maintain strong relationships with school leadership and decision makers
Develop and execute territory and account development plans
Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract close
Represent the business at sector events, conferences, and networking forums
Work collaboratively with pre-sales and technical teams to shape solutions
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM updates
Requirements:
Proven new business sales experience in IT Managed Services
Strong understanding of the Independent Education sector
Track record of delivering against revenue targets
Strong stakeholder and relationship-building skills
Ability to operate autonomously in a field-based role
Full UK driving licence
