Job Description

In this role, you’ll focus on identifying and developing new opportunities related to document control and drawing management services. Engagements may range from placing a single embedded document controller to standing up a dedicated project team or fully outsourced support model.

Job Responsibility

  • Proactively identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Leading discovery conversations to understand client challenges, budgets, timelines, and decision-making processes
  • Analyzing market conditions, industry trends, and capital project outlooks to shape growth strategy
  • Partnering closely with practice leaders and delivery teams to develop winning pursuit strategies
  • Evaluating opportunities and making informed go/no-go recommendations alongside leadership
  • Managing and tracking activity and performance within a CRM system against defined KPIs
  • Collaborating with marketing on messaging, campaigns, and participation in industry conferences and events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales
  • Experience selling professional services
  • Familiarity with engineering, architecture, or construction documentation and workflows
  • Industry exposure within energy, oil & gas, engineering & construction, or manufacturing
  • Strong lead generation and prospecting capabilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable learning new tools, processes, and industries quickly
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 (with strong PowerPoint skills)
  • Approximately 30% travel
