Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will drive our international expansion within the Oil & Gas and broader energy sectors.

Job Responsibility

  • Proactively identify and capture new O&G trading opportunities and strategic business ventures globally
  • Cultivate and manage high-level relationships with key industry players, including global majors and national oil companies
  • Evaluate the viability of potential deals by conducting deep-dive analyses of market trends, financial requirements, and operational feasibility
  • Lead the closing process by navigating complex negotiations, developing robust contracts, and ensuring seamless integration with business operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor graduate in Oil & Gas, Engineering or any equivalent qualification
  • 5–10 years of experience in business development, commercial origination, or energy trading
  • Experience navigating both local and international markets
  • Ability to negotiate commercial terms effectively and identify new business potentials
  • Experience using tools like Salesforce or HubSpot to manage a global pipeline of opportunities
  • Open to travel for business purpose

  • Academics are very important to this consultancy, only hiring consultants with exceptionally strong academics (A*s, As and Bs at ALevel and 2:1 or 1st class degrees from world leading universities)
  • Flexibility on global travel is important, so you'll need to be keen to travel to Singapore, Dubai, Geneva, London, Houston etc for up to 1 week at a time to work on clientsite, but with plenty of flexible working from home opportunities when not on client-site
