Job Description

Accelerate the growth of our Commercial Vehicles portfolio—unlocking opportunities across mining, construction, infrastructure, logistics, government, and large enterprise customers. Grow our national corporate footprint, maximise new revenue streams, and bring major commercial and passenger vehicle rental partnerships into the business.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement a strategic B2B growth plan that drives pipeline creation and revenue success across corporate, commercial, and government channels
  • Identify, prospect, and win new contracted and project-based vehicle rental opportunities in WA and across Australia
  • Negotiate and close commercial agreements that deliver long‑term value
  • Champion a seamless onboarding experience for new partners
  • Conduct regular market analysis to spot trends, emerging sectors, risks and competitor activity
  • Collaborate closely with state operations managers, commercial vehicle leads and franchise partners
  • Provide guidance, training and energy to help uplift sales capability across wider channels
  • Stay across pricing structures and support rate decisions
  • Resolve customer issues proactively by partnering with sales support, operations and frontline teams
  • Report monthly on progress, wins, insights and opportunities
  • Partner with marketing to create campaigns that attract and convert new customers
  • Contribute positively to our culture
  • Drive Trans‑Tasman opportunities across Australia and New Zealand

Requirements

  • Proven business developer with a strong record of driving revenue and profit in enterprise B2B environments
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A knack for translating data and insights into smart, strategic decisions
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce experience is a plus)
  • A self‑driven, high‑ownership mindset
  • Attention to detail, resilience, and a creative problem‑solving approach

  • Develops, implements and manages the strategies including: sales, marketing, communications, and industry / market representation
  • Leads the sales process, with support as necessary, by seeking business opportunities by interviewing customers, other suppliers and colleagues in other regions
  • Researches the customer and partners of the customer and identifies the decision makers, procurement processes, and any history they may have had with Veolia
