A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join a growing packaging business with international backing and strong expansion plans across the UK market. This is a pure new business role focused on developing strategic customer relationships, building long-term pipelines, and driving sustainable commercial growth across key packaging markets. You keep your accounts.

Job Responsibility

  • Generating and converting new business opportunities
  • Building and managing a strong 6–12 month sales pipeline
  • Engaging directly with brand owners and key decision-makers
  • Positioning the business as a strategic packaging partner
  • Developing long-term, profitable customer relationships
  • Collaborating closely with internal operational and commercial teams
  • Maintaining accurate CRM management and commercial reporting

Requirements

  • Proven success within new business sales
  • Experience within packaging, print, cartons, or any packaging material as long as the new business hunter attitude is there
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • The ability to manage complex sales processes independently
  • Experience building strategic pipelines and developing long-term opportunities
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and brand owners
  • A self-motivated and resilient approach to business development
