Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Africa to drive growth across the region. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with a strong local network, deep understanding of African markets, and experience working with international teams. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our footprint across key African markets, reporting directly to our Head of Business Development.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across Africa
  • Build and manage relationships with operators, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Drive the full sales cycle: lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and deal closure
  • Represent the company at regional and international industry events and conferences
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Tech, and Operations teams to ensure successful integrations and partner onboarding
  • Maintain market intelligence on competitors, regulation, and emerging trends in Africa
  • Meet and exceed commercial targets and revenue goals

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships
  • Strong experience in the African Market
  • Experience in iGaming, sportsbook, casino, SaaS, or digital platforms
  • Proven track record of closing B2B deals
  • Understanding of regulatory environments in the African Markets
  • Experience working with international companies and remote teams
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Willingness to travel within Africa and Internationally when needed
