Job Description:

An established and growing packaging manufacturer is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to support continued growth across the UK market may that be nationally or regionally targeting particular markets such as: Animal Feed, Aggregates, Horticulture. Specialising in innovative protective and flexible packaging solutions, the business supplies a wide range of industrial sectors with high-quality packaging products and tailored customer solutions. With strong manufacturing capabilities and an excellent reputation within the industry, this is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking and ambitious organisation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive new business development and revenue growth across the UK
  • Identify, target, and secure new customers through proactive field sales activity
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships and accounts
  • Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and product discussions
  • Deliver tailored packaging solutions aligned to customer requirements
  • Manage pricing discussions, quotations, negotiations, and sales pipelines
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reporting

Requirements:

  • Experience managing a field-based sales territory independently
  • Commercially aware with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Technically minded with the ability to understand customer requirements and production processes
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working autonomously
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK
